Overview

It’s a trap. Organisations promote their top performers into leadership and assume a high-performing employee will be a high-performing leader. But the skillset and mindset are completely different, and managing former peers makes the move harder still.

New leaders shift from being accountable for their own work to being accountable for the results of others. This programme focuses on the essential skills to build strong teams and gives new leaders the attitudes, strategies and tools that the most successful leaders use, so they can step up and take charge with confidence.

Who should attend

Leaders recently promoted into management or supervisory roles, high-potential employees considering the move into management, and anyone responsible for growing new leaders. It works well as the foundation of an internal future-leaders programme.
